She sighed as her own horse came back to her and she mounted quickly. "That we are," she murmured. Later she would have to do some serious thinking about what she would do if she ended up like her parents. It was not something that she wanted to have to plan for but it was something that was needed.

She knew that one of her sisters had turned against her so, there was no doubt that she would have to figure out what to do if she died and that sister wanted to take her place. The trip home went unnoticed to her, she was still shocked by her parents dying, even though she had known beforehand that they would.

This was more than grief though at the moment. She was concerned for her people now. She could not see a way to beat the human at the moment, and yet she had to. She knew she was likely going to fail.

He smiled as he saw the city come into view, tired from the battle he could do nothing but wait for his chariot to draw closer, he looked to Gem where she was. He knew she would be hurt rom the loss.

He looked to Gem and said, "Stay strong." and sighed as they entered through the gates of the city.

Easy for you to say, she thought as the reached the house once more. You're not the one who just lost their parents. He was right though, it was needed that she stayed strong, but at the moment she was putting in a very weak effort to do so.

Climbing the stairs took a bit but soon she was inside her home in the study where the huge walls were painted and covered in the family tree that was her own. She sighed as she searched the walls for where her own name was. There it was, linked to her sisters and parents.

She muttered a few words and the five pointed silver star appeared under her parents names, signaling that they were dead. One day, her name would have that star as well, but she hoped not for a long time.

Walking to the opposite wall she hung up the gold and green blades on their hooks under her parents names. This was a wall that showed off the names of all the fallen Dragon Riders in her family. Over twenty hooks hung there, only one was empty at the moment. The one that held her name. There was one other white sword, one which her family had been honoured to have in the family. That family member though had died four centuries ago.

He looked at the study, and at the names he looked at the white sheath and wondered on whose that could be, "Who's blade is that I've never heard of it?" he put his arm around her and held her tightly, "One day we will be on this wall, but that shouldn't be for a few centuries if I'm correct."

He looked at the sword and studied it, he wondered how her great uncle would have been if he were alive. He glanced at gem and said "Why live to his standards? Set yours higher then his and you will succeed no matter what." He moved closer to the blade and grasped the grip and took it off the wall and swung the blade experimentally. It was a bit heavier then he was accustomed to though the balance of the blade was excellent.

"It's also a decent blade a hit heavy and the design is too old for my liking."

“It’s gives me some sort of thing to live towards. He did a lot of great things, and that is something I want to do as well.” She smiled.

He looked at her and his eyes showed a fire of passion and ambition and even an obsession.

"pecs will come yes but not without some of us being lost."

He smiled and kissed her, "But I will make sure not to loose you."

"Whatns will happen," she replies. She smiled at him. Gently she kissed him back.

His hands moved down to her waist and smiled when she kissed her back, "Shall we continue this at home?"

"We sat home," she replied, gently kissing him again.

He grinned and picked her up and carried her up the stairs, he put her down on the bed and climb over and kissed her. "i ment the bed."

She chuckled. " sure you did," she laughed, then kissed him again.

His hands moved to her waist and he kissed her at the nape of her neck then her lips, "our bed is our homme isn't it?"

She smiled returning his kisses."I suppose it is yes."

He moved his hand to the lace of her clothing.
