He dropped his blade grinning and laughing knowing he would die, "It took you all these years to finally defeat me."

"I had hoped you would change but you cannot."
She sighed.
Gaelira forced Veer to the ground.
"You will not die here Glenawing, but in Anthatal."

He smiled and laughed, "I was destined to be born and die in my city."

"Wrong. My city not yours."

"Not for the past few years."

(what if Keya and Glen had kids and Gem didn't know about it..)

"Hah! I deceived you. I let Keya beat me."

((hmm I think I did factor those in once. But I had a pair from Gem and Glen too. Aishiwaria and Arjun. We never had Keya and glen have children. Gem has her own heirs though so they wouldn't be able to inherit, glens kids))

"it didn't seem like it." he said calmly, thinking of home.

"Looks like I'm better at planning things than you thought. The last few years have gone perfectly to plan." She looked at one of the gaurds who'd come to her. Drannor.
He nodded and spoke. "Hands behind your back Glenawing Firesword."

"I will not put them behind my back." he said defiantly.

"Oh yes you will, Glenawing," Drannor replied. "You're a prisoner now. You didn't give Gem that choice therefore you don't get one." one of the other gaurds grabbed Glenawings hands.

He frowned as they forced his hands behind his back, "You'll find two childeren asking for me once, tell them I've gone out on my rounds."

Em raised an eyebrow. "Children?"

Drannor bound Glen's hands carefully. The ropes were tight enough he couldn't get free but not so tight that they would rub.

"Yes children Gem."

"And why should I deceive them?"

"because their children and they don't need to know that there mother is dead and their father is in Jail." he said angerly.

She blinked. "Your chudren?"

"Yes my children what did you think I wouldn't attempt to have a family?" he said frustrated.

"You caught me by surprise." she smiled.

He looked at her with contempt, "Make sure their happy and remain unknown of mine and Keya's fate."

"That I can do. Let's go home you should have thought this was coming."

"I wasn't expecting her to loose." he winced as he looked at Keya's lifeless body.

"We won't leave her here for the wild animals, Glenawing. SShe'll get buried the way humans normally are."

"What will the children do without her and soon without me." he said sadly knowing his death would come soon.

"How old are they?" she asked.

"Their both ten." he said calmly, he missed them.
