The Dragons Rise Empty The Dragons Rise

Post  Erosaf Fri Mar 18, 2011 8:43 pm

I stood in the center of the huge platform that was mine in Waenen Island. Every year I must rise to seek a mate and never the same one twice. That was how it was. Only a Dawn or Day Dragon had the chance of being chosen the others were too small to accommodate my length.
I yawned. I would not ride yet, but in my own time. They would be patient, or they could be chosen by someone else. I was the only one with the tedious job of rising to find a new mate every year. The others all had one mate for life.
The sun felt good. I roared, letting out a think wave of fire from my throat. The white flames shot into the air, forming the shape of a huge heart. This meant that the coupling could begin. But not with me being first, someone else could. I was not interested in flying just yet.

I had seen Gaelira rise and had not bothered to try to fly her. There was no point, she had enough competition. Seeing a lone black dragon I smiled. It was Cyara, a childhood friend. I took to the air, long sinuous body working effortlessly through the air as I winged my way to her. She had come as I had suggested.
    "Hello Cyara."

He was there as well, knowing that there were no rules against his kind being there. Though seeing Gaelira made things a little difficult. That would not go down well for him. And he wanted her for his own.

The purple dragon huffed a sigh, much as his rider did. Years he had spent watching her, Gaelira. But years it had been, hiding his feelings for there. He had been there for her when Gem had been taken, but that seemed unknown.
Heaving his huge mass to his feet, he unfurled his huge wings and kept into the air. Today, they chose mates. It was a chance to win her heart.
He heard her roar, the sound music to his ears. But the form of a large, blue dragon caught his eye. Rhothilion.
"What are you doing here!" he growled, purple chest rumbling with the words.

She flipped in the air, moving easily despite her size. So graceful with beauty only matched by Gaelira herself.
She giggled to herself, eyes drawn towards Rasjar and Rhothilion, already fighting. She hoped there were no deaths today.
Seeing Neldor, she looked away from the bickering pair and smiled a toothy grin.
"Hello," she said quietly. It was her first year here, her first free year of age.

The blue dragon chuckled deeply. "beleive it or not, to find a mate, liek you and every other dragon here." It was good that Bjart was not here, he hated his brother so much since Bizandra chose him. Well if he could not have her, Cyara would be his. "I'm not going to hurt anyone." He eyed where Cyara was, he was not fooled.
It was time for me to rise, I could feel it in me now to find the one for me this year around. "Time!" I roared. Then I leapt into the air, high above all the others waiting to see who would dare take to the wing to try and win me for the year. Who would dare to challenge each other for me.

He roared loudly with his distaste, unfurling his wings once more with Gaelira's words. He would win her. Everything he would do, try to get her.
Launching into the air, he chased after her with all the speed his smaller body could handle.

I did not answer other than saying "Hello to you." Then I spun from reach into the air leaping with pride. I knew the dance I would have to do with these male dragons. "Catch me if you dare!" Who ever was first would get a lot of fire in the face from me. I knew what I was doing.
Again I dropped away from them, aiming for a fissure in the rocks. I slipped through knowing they would have a hard time chasing me in the dark. As soon I was out the other end I looped up through one of four holes into the tunnel. I darted into the third fork ahead of me stopping to whack my tail into the wall making the tunnels close behind me. They would not be able to catch me now.
A wall of white flame shot from my mouth blocking him and I leapt through the space. I knew who I wanted and i was testing them both. My mate had to be fit and strong. Also kind and not come so close without my wanting it.
Getting back to the platuea, I waited for the noble dragons to join me.

A small smile appeared upon his jaws at her greeting, glad to know that he might at least have a chance at getting her.
"I dare!" he bellowed, challenging all others who attempted, he knew there was only one true opponent here. That bloody blue dragon.

His sharp eyes lost track of her for a short moment, reeling backwards slightly at the sudden darkness before pressing onwards, twice as hard as before. His ears caught the slight sounds she made, his movements following hers in the darkness. He ran into the caved in wall, bumping into his with his snout before pulling back and charging it, the stone breaking easily under his huge mass.
She would have to try better then that.
He heard the uncoming roar of fire and dodged to the side nimbly, the hot flames barely missing him by a hair width.

Free from the darkness, his large wing carried him after her and back to the platuea and landing lightly upon his feet.
"Gaelira," he hummed, head bowing in respect to the beautiful dragon.

I watched as alot of other dragons rise and saw many in the air. i shoke my head then beat my wings until i was also in the air flying about keeping out of most others rode. I looked around keeping to myself but ready to fly if one should go after me. I hovered in the air for a minute my bronze coat had the suns raise reflecting of it but then i moved higher so it no longer did.
I looked below me and watch for a short time watched Gaelira and Cyara before looking at the males i think there was about three right now. I moved my head around to see behind me then flew on and after a short time hovered again but this time i would hover there until i needed to move again.

"It would seem, as there are no others who wanted to have me, that you are the winner, Rasjar," Gaelira said. "Though I warn you, that next year, I will rise again, and you will have to win me again. Such is the way of my kind."
She smiled at him. Then she looked towards the peak, remembering the den with waiting hatchlings there, that were her own. They were too young to go on their own at the moment.

I had been were i was for a time and my wings were some what sore. i looked around and spotted Rhothilionn, knowing i was going to regret this later on i slowly started to move closer to the bad or evil sided dragon but then stopped not sure of what to do none had taken any notice to me and Rhothilionn was a dusk, i was dawn but i would have to deal with it. I looked around then flew up higher then the dusk dragon and flew above him letting my shadow fall on him then fleww somewhat higher and waited.

A shadow flickered over his massive body and he looked up at the dawn dragon who'd flown over him. Snorting he noticed that she was a few hues darker than the one he had always wanted. She was beautiful. And he knew suddenly, that if Bizandra would never be his, then she would.
He leapt into the air, his massive wings sanning out almost brushing the walls of the area they were all in. Only Gaelira's wings would ever touch either side, and he cared not about that. Shooting up, he smiled. "Hello."

I turned my head to see that he had seen me and was coming for just as i was starting to change my mind he was in the air and shooting up towards me. I waited for a short time then quikly let myself once more hover then look at Rhothilionn as he said hello. i moved my head swiftly in a nod then replied with the same word "Hello". i wondered if there were a few reasons for him coming up here maybe my color or just because i flew above him.

"It has been a while since i saw a dawn dragon with such a shade of scales," he said. "A very long time. You almost remind me of someone else, but I doubt you've never heard that I once was thwarted by my own brother for her heart though. All dragons alive know of whom I speak."
He sighed. Though he liked what he looked at, he was a lonely dragon.

I frowned but it did not show to well on my face as i listened to what he said "really now thats new but guess i have not seen another bronze dawn dragon other then.... and i am guessing i know of this as well" i said and felt a pang of something and dearly hoped it was not warmth towards this one but then i could not be sure he was on the other side but it seemed he was lonely. well was it not that from a young age i wanted to be friends with the other types of dragon.

The aged yet young in spirit dragon could barely contain his delight.
"I will fight for you," ge told her gently "until my last breath if you will have me."
He nudged her gently with a purple snout and leaping into the sky after her.
A cave, already filled with young hatchlings.
"Are they yours?" he asked, studying the colored hatchlings.

"From my previous mate. Seems he was not around to stop you this time. He won't come to bother me any more now though." She smiled looking at them. There were three purple dragons, plus a green one, blue one and a golden one. The purples were all female, the others male. "The green one and gold one take after my parents. The blue and purple after his. He was a dusk dragon, but he was nothing like Rhothilion."

The large purple dragon bowed his head in a no like fashion, a small smile growing as he eyed the hatchlings. He had always been fond of children.
"Hello," he said gently to one, blowing a small puff of smoke from his snout "whats your name?"
His tail whipped gently in the air behind him, his gaze gentle upon the smaller dragon. Despite his size, he was much like his rider. Calm, gentle and overall friendly.

"The purple ones are Luna, Stella and Costellazione, the blue one is Tramonto, the gold one is Sole Aumentare, and the green one is Tramonto." Gaelira smiled. "Moon, Star, Constellation, Sunset, Rising Sun, and Nightfall." She was very proud of her young ones.
The little dragonet that Rasjar spoke to bolted behind her and she sighed. "They are not used to other dragons, usually its only me here with them."

"Oh," he said, looking sheepish as he backed away from the young ones.
"Sorry...I didn't meant to scare you," he called to the little purple one "sorry..." he said again to Gaelira.
He smiled, unable to keep it from his maw any longer. Finally, he had her. For at least a year, she would be his.

She chuckled happily. She was pleased to have him now. "They have not met their real father, he sort of won me, mated with me and left. I don't want him back. Not to mention he's on Rhothilion's side and I won't allow my children to be there. Though I can't stop them if their rider's are on his side."

He nodded, glad to know she did not have feelings for the past mate.
"Good," he murmured gently, his snout rubbing against her neck in comfort. He knew some males, not him but some, who would gain a new mate and kill the old offspring.
But, this gentle giant, could never harm something so...innocent and cute. He killed meat, because he had to live. If there was another way, well he was yet to find it.

She smiled as he came closer to her. She knew that there was so much that she could tell him, but yet so little that he would really understand. Some of the other dragons called her names, and not all of them were nice. Mainly to do with how she kept changing her mate. Perhaps those days would be over now. She was not interested in changing mates now that she had found Neldor.
"Some dragons can be quite spiteful," she mused

He nodded his purple head in agreement, settling to his scaled stomach beside her and watched the colorful hatchings with sparkling orbs as they played on the far side of the cave.
"Aye, some can be..." he murmured, his tail flickering slightly as he eyed the rest of the cave. It was one of the largest in the dragon's grounds.
Deep as it was tall, it could easily five several fully grown dragons. The crystals within it make Gaelira sparkled different colours

Neldor smiled as he looked in at her. "I'm glad you finally showed up here, Cyara." He chuckled. "I had thought this would be another year where i had no one that interested me, but no more."

Gaelira snorted. "Well, no one gets teased as much as me at the moment. Then again, I'm the only one of my kind at the moment, which sucks."
She glanced aroudn her cave, with its colourful gems and the long pointed stalagmites, which she loved so much.

The black scaled beauty rustled her wings, settling them tightly by her side and tilted her head in surprise.
"And who would that be Neldor?" she asked, wondering who'd she have to kill to be with him. Really anyone that tried for him....well they wouldn't get far.

He smiled gently, nose bumping her in comfort.
"If anyone dares, they'll have me upon them before they can so much as whisper another word," he told her "and there might be another sun dragon by the end of the breeding season, you never know."

She laughed. "There might well be. A few of them actually. It all depends on when a clutch of eggs hatches. And any dragon could produce one that way." She smiled at him.

"You," Neldor replied simply. "Only you have ever made me want to find a partner."

If she could of blushed, she would of been a scarlet red by now. As it was, her head ducked and hid slightly under her wing for a moment, a grin growing in place.
"You know what," she whispered, green orbs returning back to him "your the only thing that kept me going while I was trapped."
Her snout reached for his gently "the only way I could stay strong.."

He chuckled and nodded, glad to see her smile and hear her roar like laughter.
"See, soon there will be to many Sun Dragons to count."
He chuckled himself, knowing it was hardly true but the idea was nice.

She chuckled as she looked upon him. "Maybe, but for the meantime I'm the only one. Our race only stays sane, excluding Rhothilion, as long as a sun dragon lives. So if I die and there is no other to take my place, then our whole race will go mad. I have yet to see a hatchling that is one. Not in all my 100 years of life. And battle comes soon."
She was saddened by this. "I really do fear for our race, Rasjar. So much hangs in the balance. And yet so little I can do to prevent the madness."

Neldor sighed knowing that there was not much to be said at the moment. They both seemed to need each other to stay happy.
"The same could be said for me, and at times it was hard for me to stay hidden. At times I wanted to find you, to kill those who took you from me, but i had to wait for my rider. It was so hard waiting, not knowing if you were alive."
He lowered his head though when she reached for him. He knew that she was the one for him. "Never another."

Her snout went out to the male, brushing against his dark scales and a small smile tugged at her jaw.
"I am glad to still have you Neldor," she whispered, shifting closer to his side and sighed, laying down upon her stomach and watching the other dragons for a moment.
"Thank god Rhothilion didn't show up..." she muttered.

He studied the white dragoness in silence before gently nudging her.
"Gaelira, there will be a new Sun Dragon," he told her gently "and if you don't believe me...ask Gem."
He knew of her fore-telling ways.

"He is down there, but I think he just wants to find someone of his own. he knows that you chose someone else, I suppose." Neldor snorted. Now was not the time to worry about what the dusk dragon was doing. They were happy here, being together at long last. "You'll always still have me."

"The future changes, Rasjar. Even Gem said her visions are not absolute all the time."

She shook her head with a throaty chuckle.
"I was just glad you didn't have to fight him, that is all," she said

He shook his large purple head, meeting Gaelira's worried orbs.
"Gaelira, one will come," he told her and blinked slowly "I just...have this feeling."

"We'll see," she replied, watching as one of her daughters tried pointlessly to fly. They were not yet old enough. With flight came maturity, and she was not sure any of them wanted to leave her as yet. It had been a long time since they all hatched, but she was still their mother and would always be.

He chuckled. "I'm surprised he did not try and challenge me for you. I expected he would try to, but it seems I was wrong." he smiled at her gently. "Of course, not having to fight him again is a relief."

    RHOTHILION
“I did have my eyes on someone else, but there is no chance I'm picking another fight with another male, what with Gaelira being around and all.” He sneered the name, not showing any sign of respecting her. There was never a shred of that in him for the white dragon.
“you on the other hand caught my attention as well. So I sort of figured I ought to get over here before someone else claims you, Bronze Angel.”

"i see well then no fighting for me then no other male has come by me other then you" i said not really listening when he sneered Gaeliras name and i guessed that was what would come of one on the other side. I listened to what he said about me catching his attention too and had come over before anyone else could claim me "i don't think that would happen seeing as most of the other male dragons have already gotten them selves a mate" and when he said my name i was a little take back i hadn't told him my name but then again he would probably know most of our names.

"We may fight one day though," he said, eyeing the silver male for a moment. "Things won't be easy, what with one of us one either side of the war, Bronze Angel." He almost seemed saddened by that thought.
"What can we do about that though? My rider was one of the ones responsible for this war starting in the first place. Needless to say I chose him, and at the time, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Had I known this would have happened, I don't think I would have chosen him, not that he knows that."

I looked at him and nodded as he spoke "yes that may happen and i do not look forward to that" i said to him then listened to what he said next "no it will not be easy but as hard as it might get we should keep strong" i looked at him and sighed he seemed saddened and if you looked hard at me you would see that i two was saddened.
I looked at him as he spoke again "what can we do? it saddens me that we be on other sides but that is what our riders decide and don't let him know that " i looked at him then sighed softly.

He sighed as he thought about the things that would come to pass eventually. There was so much that would happen soon, and he wished he did not have to be such a crucial part of those things. Then again, life was not fair to everyone, was it? A dragon always knew what to do in some situations though.

He sighed, looking at her. She was so young and innocent. There were some things that she should not have to witness and yet she was going to have to. There was nothing he would be able to do about that. This time though as he looked at her, he noticed that something seemed to be upsetting her. “Is something wrong, Bronze Angel?” he asked gently.

What was upsetting her? It was not something he was pleased to see at all. He knew that he cared about her. That was a feeling which he had not felt in many long years. A thing that he was surprised about.

I looked around wondering how hard it would be to live knowing that if we became mates, he was on the other side. Sighing i turned my head back to him. When would life get easier, at lest when would the war stop.

I heard him sigh and he looked at me. I wondering what he was thinking. Looking around i would ask if we could land soon but not yet. I turned my head to him as he spoke asking if something was wrong " just that it will be annoying and sad if we ended up having to fight one another in one of the many battles which i am sure will come" i answered him.

I looked around again before deciding that i wanted to land seeing as we had been up here for a while "shall we land" i asked him softly.

He dove at her words, understanding them with a difference to him that was almost alien. They were on the island shaped almost like a hand now, far from Waenen Island. That was something that he had not even noticed. Soon though he landed in front of the cave he'd slept in on the way to Waenen, and he moved into it, not really worried about her presence. He did not come here very often, seeing as he usually slept in the palace.

Sighing, he lay down, resting his massive head on the cool sand. He exhaled, blue smoke spiralling up from his nostrils. He'd not been here since he'd been a hatchling. This was his mother's den, and he rarely wanted to come here, the memories of a friendship between him and his now dead brother Bjart were too much.

The very thought of his brother, who he had killed not of his own accord, sent several huge tears from his eyes, running down his snout and dripping onto the ground. The pain of knowing that Lindan Marcos had controlled him, forced him to kill his brother and the one who he had once loved, but accepted that she had chosen his brother. It was too much for him. Over seven hundred years later he was here, unable to think of anything but the evil he had done.

I waited a second when he dove down before i went myself. I looked at the shape of the island before i landed and went into the cave that Rhothilion had went in. Looking around i laid down close to him.

I sighed and wondered if life would be easier if humans and elves were not fighting. I looked around the cave for a little before laying my head on my clawed feet. Thoughts came to mind but i would not leave any of my friends behind.

Shutting my eyes for a bit i listened with my ears. I opened them again when i heard the faint sound of tears touching the ground. I frowned slightly, it went as soon as it came "what is wrong Rhothilion" I asked softly.

“I was not meant to be the way i am now. There are so many memories in this cave, but I only come here when i want to reflect on the horrible monster that I ahve become due to the poor choice of a rider that I made.” He sighed. “This was the cave I spent many a fun day with Bjart my brother in as a hatchling. I can hardly find that side of myself in me anymore. Now I wish i never met Lindan Marcos, for in truth it was not me who killed my brother. Lindan Marcos was controlling me in that fight. He even forced me to kill the one other female dragon i ever saw aas a potential mate, though she chose my brother instead.

He groaned in unhappiness. “Gaelira would never believe me if I told her that which I have told you here. I deserve to be killed by here. I'm so pathetic." Several more tears came from his eyes as he spoke, it was clear that he hated himself for the many things he ahd done.

I looked at him with soft golden eyes as he spoke about the cave we were in and that because of his chose of rider he was a monster. I listened thought all what he said until he stopped " It may seem that way, it may seem like your a monster but in truth your not its your rider thats the monster" i said to him.

I sighed when he groaned "I could speak with her tell her your not the monster everyone thinks you are, she would listen to one of her friends" i stopped then went on " live life the best you can for it could happen" a few tears of my own fell "remember you have a heart"

“It is not that simple as you would think. When choose our riders, we become one with them. Tell me that you cannot find where your mind ends and your riders starts. That is something that is impossible to us, youngling.” he sighed. He knew that she would not be able to say that she could tell where her mind and her riders were separate. No dragon could, no matter their age.

The thought about Gaelira was sombre though. “She'll never listen about me. Our races are forever at war. She is only close to my brother because he had the fortune of being her father, though like I, he is a Dusk. I have seen many things, but never did I think fate would be so cruel as for me to outlive my older brother, because I killed him.”

I lowered my head and looked away when he spoke this time and did not answer. I sighed and then stayed quite for a time. it knew that we could not find were our minds started an ended when we had a rider.

I looked at him when he said that Gaelira would never listen "i know but i will still try, although she could end up tuning against me and you may still be against each other no matter what" i said to him then looked away again and whispered softly "it was the monster upon your back that really killed him"

He sighed, knowing there was something wrong here. "It's not often he's this silent. Something does not seem right," he said. "Normally he's very vocal about me meeting other dragons. he likes to know everything about them before i do." He growled. "You better go, before there is trouble here. I'll meet up with you when I can."

"Too late," growled someone else. It was Malefore. No one else was with him. "She's coming to see our master."

"Like hell she is!" Rhothilion roared. Looking at Bronze Angel, he added. "Get out of here. I'll hold him off."

I growled and moved away from were the other was "i am not going anywere near there, let alone to him"

I looked at Rhothilion as he roared and told me to get out of here "bye and good luck" i said before running out of the cave and jumping into the air.

The long blue tail slapped out as Malefore made to stop her, making the other dragon trip. Rhothilion leapt, sinking his teeth into the purple before being thrown off. Malefore chuckled. "You'll never beat me, weakling."

Rhothilion let forth a burst of fire and ice, and Malefore tried to send his own purle flames at it, but failed, and had to dodge behind Rhothilion to try and get out of the way.

"Never try that again!" Rhothilion growled. "They don't call me evil for nothing, Malefore. Only fair that the student outdoes the master." Leaping out of the cave, he sealed it shut behind him with the icy fire. It would take time for Malefore to break that away.

I looked behind me a few times as i flew away from the fighting dragons. I sighed as i saw Rhothilion shut the cave we had been in trapping the other dragon for a time. I would have called back but i knew that i would have to get back to were Silver was and my other friends.

I flew on for a mile or 2 before stopping and looking around to see if anyone was coming my way. I really did wounder what Gaelira would do if i did try to tell her that Rhothilion wasn't that bad.

He watched her go, knowing that she had to return to Gaelira now, and her own rider. It was not something he liked the thought of, but he knew she had to. If only Malefore had not shown up. Using him as bait, had his rider, eh? Well, there would be some arguments to come for that pathetic human, Rhothilion knew.

Growling, he shot towards Nuduien, landing quickly in front of his rider. "How dare you!" he roared.

"Dare I what?" Lindan Marcos asked mildly. "What is wrong with you, Rhothilion?"

"Send Malefore after me. If you like him so much, and don't eny you like him more than I, then take him as your dragon. I won't have you treat him better than me. I chose you once."

    "What are you talking about!"

"You sent him after me to try and capture Bronze Angel. I could not allow him to do that. If that's the way you want to treate me then fine, I release you from being my Rider!"

He felt the human's mind vanish from his and he roared in agony as it parted with him. There was no chance that he was going to fall for the human again. Then he leapt from the sky. Not going far though, only into the mountains to find somewhere to rest after forcing Lindan’s mind out of his for the last time. It had taken a lot fo power to do such a thing.

    Bronze Angel

After a while of being back with my rider I felt i needed to go fly, I did not know were and my wings would take me were I needed to go. I told Silver Mythic that I was going and then jumped into the air and flew off. Sighing as I flew just letting the wind and my wings take me were they wanted.

I stopped when I saw mountains and beyond that the place were Lindan Marcos lived. I flew to the mountains in which I could hide until night and fly home. Looking around them I thought i saw a flash of blue over to my right. I glided over to see whom it was and was surprise to see just who it was "hello Rhothiolion " i said softly

The great blue head snorted as he heard the other dragon coming down towards him. Instead of the normally challenging greeting he normally gave, he did not move. Things were different now for him. He wanted to rebuild his life, into a more noble one. That was something that he would not find easy to do, seeing the elves unlikely trust in him.

Growling though to himself he looked up as the other finished landing. "Angel," he replied. He knew he looked a sorry sight, crumpled here on the ground. just inside this cave. It was not something he would normally be like but he knew there was no point in being who he used to be.

He knew though that now that Lindan Marcos did not have him anymore, that the human would have to find another dragon who was willing to fly with him. It was something that most dragons would not allow themselves to do. Only one other would. Malefore.

"How went the talk with Gaelira?" For the first time in too long to remember, he had not sneered her name. It was something that surprised him. He was definately fond of the young female in front of him.

I looked at him and walked over to lay beside him. he seemed so sad right now. I looked at him again before wondering why he was here. I would wait for him to speak before I did but I still wanted to know why he was here.

My soft eyes looked at him and when he asked how the talk went I smiled "it was good better when I finally said why I was asking her things. Gaelira said she thanks you and that she will come to talk with you some time soon" I said kindly and also realized he had not sneered when he had said her name.

"Why are you here Rhothiolion and why is it you look so sad" I asked him

"I do not know what to do with myself any more. The elves all hate me, and I have no rider any more. I broke he bond between Lindan Marcos and I. I will not choose another human, they are weaker than I thought and are corrupted so much more easily than anyone would have thought." He sighed. "What am I meant to do? I was born to have a rider, as my brother was, as my two nieces are, Gaelira and Velatha."

It was then his head rose seeing a golden female soaring down to them. He surged to his feet at the sight of her. "What is it, Velatha?"

"Malefore has bonded with Lindan Marcos, uncle. Theya re preparing his army, to get them ready to march for the elves forest."

    Bronze Angel

I listened to what he said and my eyes opened somewhat more wider when he said he had broken the bond between Lindan Marcos and himself " You can help us Rhothiolion, and even if all the elves hate you, my rider can not hate you as I do not. I would say you are right about humans but some could be better then others" I said to him
"so was I born to have a rider but in time maybe another could become your rider one whom is not as easily corrupted"

I turned my head to see a golden dragon soaring down to us and watched as Rhothiolion was on his feet quite fast. I got up myself and listened to what Velatha said "we must go warn Gaelira and the others" I said quickly and looked around getting ready to fly as fast as I could back to Silver and the others. I sent my rider what had happened so she would be ready when I got back.

I looked at Rhothiolion "will you come with me" I asked him.

He sighed, looking between the two female dragons who he cared about. There was no doubt in his mind that he ought to go with them. "I will come. You should as well, Velatha. Lindan Marcos may try and use you to get to me."

"We cannot. Our place is here, helping those who do not wish to fight the elves," the golden dragon replied. "Plus, Gem has been communicating with Keya. There is a plan for our safety when the fight comes."

"Very well, my neice." It was time the remaining son of Aythenas soared once more. He looked to Bronze Angel. "I have another method of us getting there in time. it will take over a week to fly there, but I have another route we can take, under the ground, which if we run, will only take us two days, putting us at least a week in front of Malefore and Marcos."

I looked at them both and listened to what they said. I looked around us I was more alert now knowing that I needed to get back to my rider. I listened only partly to what they said, until he looked at me saying a way to get to them faster.

I nodded my head "then we shall go under the ground and go as fast as we can I like that we will get there sooner then them" I said to him before looking to the golden dragon "thank you for coming and tell us this".

"We've met before, Bronze Angel. Keya and I came to stay with the elves once. Though it saddens us to hear of Glenawing's passing away. Keya is distraught over that. Even I cannot get through to her at the moment," Velatha replied. "Her father though refuses to see how upset she is... he keeps telling her to get over him already. She's refusing to do so, she does not want to meet any of the suitors he keeps getting in."

She sighed. "I remain in Nuduien to protect her at the moment, without her... I am nothing." it was not something that was easy for her to admit. “We will see you both again.” With that the golden dragon leapt into the sky, heading for her home.

Rhothilion sighed. “She is a good daughter of my brother. Noble to the end that one.” He chuckled and then looked into the cave behind him. “There is the start of the passage.” He started moving towards it. Soon though, he was jogging through it, only to stop when he knew that Bronze Angel would be tired out.

I nodded my head "that we have Velatha and it is sad that he passed and she will most likely never get over him" i said to her then added "keep Keya safe from harm" i looked to her as she said she remaned here "well look after yourself and i hope to see you later on"

I looked to Rhothilion when he spoke "that she is Rhothilion' i said. I looked into the cave and went in after him. Jogging just behind him and i would not stop until i had to do so.

"At least in a place like this, Malefore has no powers. The powers of this tunnel can only be harnessed by one like me, a Dusk Dragon." He chuckled.

"Malefore knows these tunnels. However not as well as I do." Knowing she was getting tired though, he could hear from her breathing, he slowed down and stopped in a wide cavern.

"We're about halfway. We'll be there tomorrow afternoon. Sleep."

He crouched, eyes wide opena nd alert in the darkness. "I don't need to sleep. A place like this charges me, because its so full of shadows."

I nodded my head when he spoke and half smiled "would he lead others here" i asked as he slowed snd stopped. I looked around where we were and sighed tiredly "okay then i will sleep for now" i said though the darkness of the carvern.
"okay thats good you will be charge nicely for later then" i said softly then moved off a little and laid down to sleep. I sighed in my sleep quite a few times, it would seem that i was sad even though i was sleeping peacefully.
