He was walking along the forest path. Today was a special day for Tirach, it was his 23 birhtday. Not many people knew when his birthday was, just Gem, GLen, Aruaka, keya, and a few others. He had told them not to do anything special for him but knowing them they wouldnt listen to him and make a big deal out of it. Why wouldnt you want a party? corath asked. "Because it isnt that big of deal Corath" he looked ahead and saw someone standing there almost waiting for him.

Birthdays were important, she knew that. That was why she was planning something behind Tirach's back, like she did every year. There was going to be a party, and she had sent Auraka to distract Corath and Tirach and keep them away from the hall. That way she knew they would not find out what was happening there.

As I walked towards the person I realized to was Auraka. He was supposednto be with Gem now....what was going on here?

Auraka muttered under his breath, walking the halls of the castle in seek of his task.
Distract Tirach. Simply enough, it had seemed at the time. But surely it would be easier if he could actually find him.
"Aha!" he cried, breaking into a grin which suddenly turned into a frown and a serious face. He wasn't allowed to know, so Auraka had to do everything but let him find out about his party.
"I've been looking all out for you Tirach," he said, hand resting on the young elf's shoulder "Rasjar and I wanted to go flying, check the borders and all that stuff, did you want to join us?"

Things were well on the way. The hall was being decorated, and I knew that Tirach would find it hard to stay away. Keya though had both her mind and foresight focused on Tirach. If she so much as heard him think or make up his mind that he was going to come this way, she would let Auraka know, so he could be on his gaurd.
"Auraka foudn Tirach. He's offering to go check the borders with him," Keya told me.
"Good though it'll take a lot longer than that will keep him away for to get this ready," I muttered, in the middle of a spell. A spell which sent something crashing tothe ground with a loud noise as I lost my focus. "Anima."

"ummm suree but aren't there patrols for that? And shouldn't you be with Gem you know like running things?" something was definitely up, Auraka never went on patrol and as a matter of fact Tirach didn't go much anymore

Well the broken decoration was a set back. She sighed muttering words to mend what had been broken. It was a tricky thing to do, and having noises like this happen was not helping matters at all for her. She knew that.
Keya chuckled. "Tirach seems confused by what's going on. Apparently Auraka never joins the patrols."
"Not true. Before we were just really busy what with your father trying to kill me all the time so it was necessary that he didn't go on the patrols. now though tehre is plenty of time for that."

"Not all the time Tirach," he said and shrugged his shoulders "Rasjar and I have to get away sometime, and flying the borders is helpful as well as away from things."
"And that pile of paperwork, we'll it's finished for the day!" he cheered to himself at the thought "and Gem is doing something, so I thought you might want to join me."
He shrugged, trying to seem as if it didn't matter. But his head snapped up, eyes narrowing into the distance at the sounds of a crash, hoping that Gem was okay.

Tirach raised an eyebrow. " won't gem need your help with her ....thing?" Auraka was trying way to hard to him to go there was definitely something going on here. "actually I need to go to the hall to get something "

Gaelira laughed, landing before them. "I'm sorry but you'll have to send someone else to get what you want from the hall. You're not actually allowed in there at the moment, only royals are allowed today I'm afraid." She smiled. "Even i am not allowed in there, and I'm Gem's dragon." She smiled. "it's been closed off for reasons only Gem herself knows. If you wish to know what they are, take it up with her tomorrow morning."

This bit of information sen Tirach's brain into a whirl......the hall was never sealed off unless something serious was happening. He had to get in there but hen needed a plan for it. "Alright Auraka, let's go on patrol. Care to join us Gaelira?"

"I would be I have my own work to do here," she replied, though she smiled at Tirach and Corath. the other dragon at least would know she was not going to allow Tirach into the hall. "However once that is done I might comme and find you, but only if Gem has finished whatever she needs to get done."

Auraka shook his head quickly, with a small smile.
"Kicked and bared from the room my friend, a thing apparently that only 'girls' can do together," he sighed, knowing it had happened several times before so he didn't feel to bad about saying it.
At Gaelira's sudden appearance, he blinked and nodded to the great white queen.
'Thanks Gaelira,' he whispered mentally and gestured for Tirach to lead the way.
"Let's get going," he said, calling Rasjar as he went.

Tirach nodded at Corath and he started to fly. As Corath flew behind him Tirach jumped high into the air, did a backflips and landed on Corath's back "well Auraka let's get going. The borders aren't waiting." He then took off.

Auraka breathed a sigh of relief, leaping onto Rasjar's back and chuckled as they raced after the flying pair.
"Let's have some fun, old friend," he said as he leapt into the air and let loose a breath of fire. It had been a while since they had just flown together for fun and nothing else.

Ok then how to get rid of Auraka Tirach mused to himself and of course Corath. Just leave it alone If Gem doesn't want you in there it is for a good reason. Corath tried reasoning. Yes i am sure but as leader of the Siron Force it is my duty to protect... It is your duty to follow the orders of your queen. interupted Corath. Tirach looked back and noticed Auraka and Rasjar gaining. Yes but not at the risk of her own safty and for all i know she could be doing something dangerous. Especially if she is planning me a party, she always tries to one up it every year. "COme on slowpokes" he cried then urged on COrath.

Gaelira laughed as she watched Corath and the others go. As soon as they were out of sight and moving away quickly, Gem got to work on decorating the hall once more. The dragon and rider worked well together to get the job done. Gaelira happily lifted the other elves up when they couldn't do something to.

"we were have learnt that Corath can only keep Tiradh away for son long, Glen," Gem replied from where she was hanging something up above where she stood on Gaelira's head. She grinned as she got the banner up on that end and Gaelira shifted her head to where the other end would be.
