A flash of purple light in the air told her that Hybru had returned. Gaelira roared in welcome as the purple dragon soared down to the ground inside Meadowbrook's walls.

Gem hurried out, as did Hybur's sisters.

"Welcome home," she said, smiling at Kasinda.

Rasjar looked up, eyeing his very own purple son with a smile as he landed lightly in the castle grounds, glad to see him safe and sound.

Heaving his mass to his feet, he paced towards the lot slowly, looking over at his roaring mate with a chuckle.
    "You coming?" he questioned.

Kasinda smiled hesitantly and nodded her thanks, stepping down from his spine and onto the grass below, pulling her belongings behind her.
"Thank you," she whispered, looking at Gem who still looked the same even with all the years between.

Even as they greeted Kasinda and Hybur, roars could be heard and they were coming fastly closer. Gaelira snarled, leaping into the sky, only to dive back quickly. "Moon Dragons! At least a hundred of them. We're under attack."

Through her heart of hearts which Auraka had, she added. The time at which for you to give my heart to Gem may be close at hand.

Kasinda's shy smiled instantly turned to a face of horror as Rasjar looked up into the sky, letting loose a terrible and challenging roar. Her face turned to the worried features of her uncle, who nodded once to the great white dragoness before ushering her and her items inside.

"Sahar and Drannor are inside with Taeron," he said quickly, leading her though the castle swiftly "Meria as well, and Pollae...though I doubt they will stay out here. Try and make sure they do! We can't loose them...this is our fight."

He paused then, smiled gently and kissed her forehead.
"It's good to see you again my darling niece, you've been gone much to long," he said pushing her into a large room of where the rest of the family sat, seeming unaware of the oncoming battle despite Cyara filling them in mentally.

"Kasinda!" Sahar cried and the room fell silent as everyone turned to the door to see the short red haired girl. The worried woman threw her arms around her daughter and clutched her against her chest.
"Kasi, my little girl," she whispered, looking over at Drannor with tears in her eyes "you came back!"

A little squawk brought there attention to the golden hued hatchling at her feet, peering up at the others as it snuggled into it's bonded legs with a content snort.
"You have a dragon..." Sahar whispered eyes growing wide as Cyara padded closer, snout sniffing at the basket over her arm.
"And an egg," she added with a hum, lowering her small head to the hatchling "he isn't very old though...only a day or so."

"He?" Kasinda asked in surprise and uncovered the red egg to show them as Cyara nodded her black head.
"Yes little one, it is male," she said with a small smile as it frolicked around her claws "have you named him?"

"Ah..no...I didn't know know he was mine until a few hours ago," she said sheepishly "or that it was indeed a boy..."

Kasinda nodded her head, mind already ticking over names as she turned to look at her father, scared at what she would find. When she had left, he had been a broken man alongside her mother. But even her mother had a small spark back, maybe he was the same?

The blue eyes that met his daughters gaze were not those of the man she had left behind. No, this time Drannor was a lot more different, he was the man he had been before Neldor died. He only looked at her for a second before moving over to give her hug.
"Kasinda." Though he only spoke one word, there was enough in the voice that spoke that would tell her that she had been forgiven, that he had understood why she left. He though was only too aware of what was going outside.

Gaelira bellowed and a wall of white dragons seemed to pour out of the weyr that was her own. Narimya growled, looking at Meira. He wanted to help, and that was going to be an issue. In the coming of Kasinda's return, no one had noticed that Hybur and Xanotter were not in the castle. And it was not they who were in charge of themselves now, but someone else.
For unlike Faeron, they had not been freed of the other presence in their minds. There had not been time for that to happen.
Gaelira snarled as she leapt into the sky, infront of her own wing of Sun Dragons, as they soared forwards, only fifty in number, well, fifty one including Rasjar. Chaos ensued as the dragons collided with each other, grapling and biting.
Just as she'd dispatched one dragon, a shadow fell over her and she had to roll quickly to stop Gem being snatched from her own saddle by Xanotter's grabbing claws.
Drawing away from the others, but followed by Xanotter, she growled as she spun to face him. "Xanotter, snap out of this madness and go home!"
"We can't!"Hybur called. "They'll kill us if we try and fight this. This has to happen." It was not like him to say that, and she knew it.

She saw the change and her heart lightened ever so slightly, but the guilt of leaving them all behind still rested hard and she knew it would take maybe years to leave her. But she hugged him tightly, loving the smell of comfort from her childhood and sobbed once against his chest before pulling herself together but stayed in his arms.
"Thank you Daddy," she whispered before spotting her brother and two toddlers in the room whom he was playing with quietly.

"Taeron?" she called, frowning slightly in confusion at his grinning face and knew that he had forgiven her "are you married now?"

He blinked and chuckled shaking his head slowly.
"No Kasi dear," he said "where're did you get that idea?"

She gestured towards the bubbly toddlers with a nod of her head and he just grinned broader.
"No sister of mine, they are our little brother and sister," he said "Raiwen and Tandil, or simply Rai and Tan."

She blinked in shock, kneeling close to them and indeed saw that they looked very much like herself and her brother, including there parents of course.
    "How old are they?"
"Three...mother found out she was pregnant the day you left," he said softly, opening his arms to give her a hug and she willing fell into them.
    "Twins again?"
"Triplets," he whispered into her ear and she went to ask but he shook his head ever so slightly so she didn't say anything "I'll tell you later, mother doesn't like to talk about it."
She looked around the room, pausing with a slight frown of her brows.
    "Where is Hybur?"

Rasjar flew beside his mate, smaller then his white hued friends but much larger then the approaching moon dragons (I think XD). He roared his challenge, trying to stay close to his mate as possible with Auraka urging him to as well, but in the midst of the battle they became separate and both elf and dragon worried beyond belief.

At the distant flash of purple, they powered forth at the danger of there own sons and the desperate nature to keep Gaelira's thoughts a lie. They may of held her hearts, but they wanted her in body and not just soul.

"Gaelira!" Rasjar roared as Auraka called out Gem's name as the younger purple dived on there beloved's.

But they were to far away, they would be too late.

The white dragon growled, trying to find a way around this. There was nothing though that she could think to say. She knew though that this was going to happen no matter what the others said. She had known that today she'd fall, but at the claws of her own son? That had never been something she wanted to happen.

'We might have to turn to your electric attack,' Gem thought, looking at her dragon.

'I suppose so.' The white dragon reared her head back before letting loose a blinding surge of yellow electricity from her mouth at where Xanotter had been. She blinked though when Xanotter appeared once more in front of her, completely unscathed. She snarled as a bolt of ice smashed into her side, causing Gem to yelp as she struggled to remain in the saddle.

Drannor smiled as he hugged his daughter. "Yes they are ours," he said softly. He had been about to say something else, but horror flashed across his face has his head turned towards the window. From there he could see Gaelira diving to avoided several spears of ice, being relentlessly followed by.... Hybur?
